Rolefolk is a service operated by STINT LTD, registered in England and Wales (Company No. 11022621).

Information we may collect

• information you provide during a recruitment conversation
• your general work preferences, location or area, availability and work interests
• information you provide about your eligibility to work
• technical information associated with your visit
• anonymous or pseudonymous visitor, case and referral identifiers
• referral and attribution information
• campaign information such as UTM parameters
• communications you choose to have with the Rolefolk recruitment team

You do not need to send a passport, National Insurance number, bank details, full home address, date of birth or a complete CV to start an enquiry.

How we use information

We use information to respond to enquiries, understand the type of work you are looking for, provide recruitment and matching support, communicate with you, understand how people discover Rolefolk, operate referral features, maintain service security and improve the service.

Recruitment partners

Where appropriate to progress a recruitment opportunity, information may be shared with or provided to the relevant recruitment partner or organisation involved in that opportunity. We aim to limit this to information reasonably required for the relevant recruitment process.

SaleSmartly

Rolefolk uses a third-party customer communication service to support website recruitment conversations. Information you provide through that service may be processed as part of providing and managing the conversation.

Telegram / external messaging

You may be offered the option to continue receiving updates or communicating through services such as Telegram. Using an external messaging service is optional and is also subject to that service's own privacy practices and terms.

Referral

If you choose to share Rolefolk, we may use an anonymous or pseudonymous referral identifier to understand visits and enquiries resulting from a shared Rolefolk link. Referral links must not contain sensitive candidate information. Sharing Rolefolk is optional and does not affect your access to recruitment support or opportunities.

Storage and attribution

Rolefolk uses first-party technology to support Visitor and Referral state, service functionality and basic source attribution. Identifiers may be anonymous or pseudonymous; using an identifier does not necessarily place information outside privacy protections. See our cookies and storage information.

Site functionality

Rolefolk uses first-party technology to support site functionality and anonymous or pseudonymous Visitor state. Browser storage may support continuity between visits. Blocking storage may affect this continuity. Static pages and assets may also be cached by your browser.

Visitor and Referral information

Visitor, Case and Referral identifiers may be used to support the service and basic source attribution. These identifiers may be pseudonymous; they are not necessarily outside privacy protections. Sharing Rolefolk is optional.

SaleSmartly recruitment chat

Rolefolk uses SaleSmartly to support website recruitment conversations. This third-party service may use cookies, browser storage and connection information to provide and manage its service. Messages are sent when you choose to send them.

Analytics and advertising

First-party service and attribution events depend on the environment configuration. Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel and other advertising tracking are not enabled. The chat provider may process its own service and connection information.

Your choices and questions

You can use browser controls to manage stored data, although blocking storage or the communication service may affect functionality. Clearing browser storage does not delete information already sent to a recruitment service.
